Bio

Throughout my life I have found myself seeking meaningful challenges; things that would benefit me both mentally and physically.  Running was one of the first challenges and passions I found. At a young age I began sprinting and as I grew up that became long distance running which then evolved into triathlons. I loved not only the competitive nature of the events, but also, how I felt both physically and mentally after I completed a race.

I first began practicing yoga in 2017, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I really began deepening my practice. As life presented new and difficult challenges, yoga became that much more important to me; both on and off the mat.  Soon, yoga gave me the same great feeling that running did. But it also gave me so much more.

In September 2022, after two cross country moves, I landed in Massachusetts and found SWEAT. I didn’t know a single person in the area and thought I would try out a class. After my first class, SWEAT felt like home.  It wasn’t long after my first class there that I knew that this was where I wanted to start my next challenge; completing a yoga teacher training. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with SWEAT in April of 2023. My love of meaningful challenges has now continued through my practice and teaching. I look forward to completing more trainings to deepen my practice and knowledge of yoga. My hope is that everyone that takes my class feels just as at home as I did when I entered the studio. In my classes you can expect to be challenged and definitely sweat.

When I’m not in the studio you can find me running, hiking or reading a book. I can’t wait to see you in class and sweat with you.
