What is it?

At SWEAT Power Yoga, we believe in supporting you and your practice. We recognize that there are times when investing fully in your yoga journey can be challenging. We are dedicated to creating financially accessible opportunities for everyone to attend classes in a way that feels right for you.

All humans* are welcome to submit an application to the Community Collective regardless of  race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, religious and spiritual beliefs, class, age, color, sexual orientation, ability, immigrant status, and national origin.

Scholarships are currently limited. If there is no financial support accessible at the time of your application, we are committed to remaining in communication with you until such time as funds are made available for use.

Application

  • Please apply using the Google form linked here. If you need assistance filling out the form for any reason, do not hesitate to reach out to us at community@sweatpoweryoga.com. 

  • Get started by submitting an application or getting nominated by someone to be a part of the Community Collective. We will review your application and follow-up with the references as necessary. Then, we will schedule a conversation with you to discuss how the Community Collective can be a contribution to your practice and work together to discern if the program is an appropriate fit for you. 

  • The SWEAT management team will review the Community Collective applications. All members of the team are committed to SWEAT’s core values of welcome and creating possibility in the community. They are also committed to upholding SWEAT’s standards of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Packages

  • Fully subsidized packages will be granted only once. However, we are here to support an accessible practice for our community. Upon completing your first 10 pack, we invite you to use your discretion with the sliding scale opportunities that follow.

  • All Community Collective participants will start with a full scholarship of a 10 class package. Upon completing the initial package, they are invited to enter into the sliding scale model. 

    In the sliding scale model, participants are invited to invest in themselves. The lowest available investment is $27.50 ($5.50/class value). The highest investment is $67.50 ($13.50/class value).

    The sliding scale is not currently available to anyone outside of the Community Collective program.

Donations

  • Register using your class package, membership, or drop in! 100% of the proceeds will be transferred to the Community Collective Fund.

  • First of all, thank you for asking! Please feel free to make a monetary donation via gift card purchase in our online store by clicking here (use gift card details below) or by connecting with one of our teachers in-studio. We are also happy to assist you via email at community@sweatpoweryoga.com.

  • SWEAT is a for-profit business and therefore cannot ensure that donations are tax-deductible at this time. However, we would be more than happy to send you a receipt of any donations given for your records upon request.
