YOGA TEACHER
Why do you move?
I move for so many reasons! To connect with myself and others, to strengthen my body and mind, to ground in the present moment and feel balanced. The list goes on. Plus, it just feels good!
Ideal weekend adventure:
I'm typically a planner. So an ideal weekend adventure would be to not plan! Head up north to a lake and the mountains with family and friends. Disconnect from technology, spend time outside, sit around a fire, laugh, listen to music, enjoy some good food and drink, chat, play games and hopefully get a look at the clear night sky.
Who inspires you?
I am inspired by the people who have overcome obstacles in their journey. Handling life's complexities with courage and optimism - a beautiful reminder that transformation is possible.
Bio
Since beginning my yoga journey in 2017, this practice has been a constant source of grounding, growth and connection in my life. What started as a way to move my body, ending up becoming so much more. A space to connect with myself on a deeper level, to cultivate balance, and to carry mindfulness and compassion into my daily life. Yoga has also given me a greater sense of connection with others, continuing to remind me that what we nurture on the mat ripples outward into the world around us. I am deeply grateful for the ways yoga has guided me while navigating some of life's difficult and complex situations - coming out the other side with new perspective, peace and inner strength.
I was inspired and eager to learn more, so I signed up for the SWEAT Self Discovery YTT and completed my RYT 200-hour in June 2025. I'm stepping into the role of teacher with the same curiosity and gratitude that first drew me to the practice of yoga. I love so many different styles of movement and being open to the possibilities! Some days I love to explore and play within my own practice. Other days I focus on stillness and deep connection with my breath. My classes are designed to meet you where you are - welcoming all levels - with the intention of creating a space where each person feels supported, empowered to choose what they need and be at ease.
Off the mat, I work remotely for Ally Bank in the Auto Finance division as a Product Manager. I have many other roles too - mom, wife, sister, auntie, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, friend...the list goes on. Outside of work hours, my daughter Hazel keeps us busy! I love spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, moving my body (yoga, golf and hiking are favorites) and I'm always on the hunt for a good coffee shop.
I believe yoga is not just about what happens on the mat, but about how we carry its lessons into our everyday lives. I'm so honored to be here and look forward to seeing you on the mat!
