YOGA TEACHER

Why do you move?

Movement is sacred to me, a reminder of how fortunate I am to have a body that can move, stretch, and flow. Most of all, I move to slow down. In the rhythm of movement, I find presence and peace. I reconnect with my body, mind, and spirit to feel grounded.

What fad do you hope makes a resurgence?

If your life was summed up in one quote what would it be:

“Never doubt your own worth and potential. you are a force of nature capable of extraordinary things.”

Bio

For years, I was passionate about exercise, especially weightlifting. But over time, I realized I was going through the motions without much intention. I dabbled in yoga on and off, but it wasn’t until I faced some personal health challenges that I truly committed to the practice. That shift changed everything. Yoga has become so much more to me than just exercise. It’s how I connect with myself, slow down my racing mind, and truly feel into my body. I’ve never felt more grounded, more present, or more aware of the small miracles in movement — like learning how to fan my toes! It fascinates me to experience parts of my body in new ways, even the tiniest muscles we often overlook.

Outside the studio, I work as a nurse in several emergency departments and am currently pursuing my graduate degree to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My goal is to one day integrate yoga into mental health and wellness care, combining mind–body practices to support healing from the inside out.

When I’m not practicing yoga or studying, you can find me running, keeping up with my 20+ houseplants, or building something with wood — so far, I’ve made a planter and am currently working on a bench! I also love to paint my own plant pots and get creative through DIY projects.

My movement routine now reflects balance: yoga, running, and plans to reintroduce strength training in a more intentional way. Through teaching, I hope to create a welcoming space for others to explore their bodies, minds, and breath — and maybe discover something new about themselves, too.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to move with you
